Together with the Liberty Market Building staff, we co-hosted their first annual donation drive. We collected food donations during the summer months of 2015 in support of Second Harvest Food Rescue.
Since 1985, Second Harvest has rescued and delivered more than 127 million pounds of food and has provided enough food for 30,000 meals a day.
Support from family, friends, colleagues, tenants, and the Liberty Village community came together to collect a number of boxes of non-perishable food items. A visual display of the community coming together was on display in the Liberty Market Building’s galleria for all visitors to see. We couldn’t have done this without everyone’s overwhelming support!
